Das Beta-Prinzip is a book about coworking and the future of work. On 130 pages, divided into five chapters, the founders of Berlin coworking space Betahaus tell their story about setting up one of the largest coworking spaces worldwide. SCHWARZ CONTEMPORARY – founded by former Contemporary Fine Arts Gallery director Anne Schwarz – is a young gallery in Berlin. The corporate design is based on neon-colors which change from exhibition to exhibition.Design2011 -
The handling of condominium apartments in attractive old buildings and top class new-builds in good residential locations in Berlin is the core business of Ziegert Bank- und Immobilienconsulting. The company – active since 1985 as a traditional real estate agent and financial service provider – has built up a good reputation since then and is currently one of the most well known and leading real estate service providers in Berlin. Leaded by Thomas Schinabeck, who did the brand strategy, Etienne Heinrich and Thomas Weyres did the complete branding of ZIEGERT including all communication media.Design2011 -

High quality value is no longer created only in classic offices. Added value is created in different locations, at different times, in changing team constellations and without permanent employment. This new type of work constantly seeks new real and virtual locations. Open, digitally networked and collaborative work places are required which are flexible and serve as incubation platform for network, innovation and production.
The betahaus is such a working space. It is a platform which meets the requirements of independent creative professionals and knowledge workers, and expands their opportunities. In a mixture of relaxed coffee house atmosphere and concentrated working environment we create room between work and privacy in which innovation and creativity is fostered.
For the identity I am working with betahaus co-founder Tonia Welter on all communication-media.Design2011 -
Hiroglyph-type using the coordinates of fingers on the mobile keyboard while typing textmessages. Originally developed for the exhibition "CHAT" at Westfälischer Kunstverein and after exhibited at Kunstverein Cuxhaven, the type was shown as a illustration series in german weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT. Later the series was republished by BLUE LINE – The executive Magazine of HP.
The type was awarded by Create Berlin in it's 2010 poster award.Illustration2011 -
Conception and graphic-design for Sibylle Jazras catalogue for exhibition at Kunstverein Heidenheim. The 120-pages catalogue is printed on three different papers which divide the catalogue into different chapters.Editorial Design2011 -
„Marke Eigenbau“ is a book, documenting with an economic perspective, all things self-made, DIY and specially crafted by people around the world. Book Cover Concept and Layout, Production Management together with Martin Baaske for ZIA. For the premiere 20.000 books an individualized edition was created. The title is spray painted via stencil on the cover. The stencil is inclosed for buyers use.Design2011 -
In 2008 MTV wanted to promote their Gaming show MTV Game One with nationwide magazine ads in selected tech-magazines. We developed ads together with the MTV consumer marketing unit, sadly they never went to the printer.Art Direction2011 -

Trend-Update is a by-monthly B2B-Magazine published by Matthias Horx and Zukunftsinstitut. For a pitch we were invited to, we developed a concept to evolve the magazine into an interactive tool to work with. Single pages are tools for group opinion mapping which can be visualized by stickers and sticky notes. We won the pitch. Comet is the annual german popular music award hosted by VIVA – a german music tv-channel broadcasted by MTV Networks. After winning a pitch in 2009, I am art-directing the print campaigns for the event the last three years.
Coming from an editorial-design background, working for teenagers as a main target-group wasn`t that easy for me in the beginning. Over the last three years we developed some slow changes in the design to speak to an older target-group. We changed the logo a bit, and are working now with lighter colors.Design2011 -

VIVA Clubrotation was broadcasted first in 1996 on german music tv channel VIVA. After the redesign of VIVA in the beginning of 2011, the new Club Rotation logo had to be softly introduced using parts and shapes of the old logo as main elements of visuals on posters and CD covers.Art Direction2011 -
For Creative NRW – a intiative by the Wirtschaftsministerium NRW to develop the support of creative industries in NRW – Zentrale Intelligenz Agentur did a scenario-workshop about the future of creative industries in NRW. Martin Baaske and Thomas Weyres did live-drawings for the scenarios. The drawings were cut out and used for the presentation of the scenarios. The agency Boros did a wonderful book about the scenarios which was published by Wirtschaftsministerium NRW in March 2011.Illustration2011
